چکیده
The aim of the research was to investigate effects different stocking densities on fattening performance, slaughter, carcass, meat quality characteristics, and fatty acid composition in New Zealand rabbits raised cage conditions also determine ideal housing frequency so that yields were not adversely affected. In study, 36 used. After weaning, started put into cages at as 1 rabbit/cage, 2 rabbits/cage, 3 rabbits/ cage. live weight feed consumption data taken every week. At end 8 weeks fattening, slaughtering carried out slaughter weights recorded. internal organ hot carcass determined. 24 h, chilled reference defined. As parameters meat; pH, color, cooking loss, water holding capacity, drip results rabbits/cage group had lowest final (2353.60 g) daily gain (25.62 but rabbit/cage conservation ratio (3.56) (p < 0.05). There no significant differences dressing percentage, hot, chilled, weight. Head hind part percentages higher for groups Stocking density relationship between except b* value longissimus dorsi muscle measured 24$^{th}$ h biceps femoris 0$^{th}$ conclusion, better performance values comparing because movement area, social hierarchical behavior advised laboratory commercial rabbit breeding uniformity profitability.

Evaluation of Growth Performance, Carcass Characteristics, Litter Quality and Foot Lesions of Broilers Reared under High Stocking Densities
Two repeated experiments were conducted to investigate the effects of different stocking densities onbroiler performance, carcass characteristics, litter quality and foot lesionsusing 5224 one day-old Ross 308 broilers. In each experiment, a total of 2612 one day-old broilers were allocated in 16 floor pens at densities of 16, 18, 20 and 22 birds/m2 of floor space in an environmentally controll...

In this study, the effects of the inclusion of artichoke bracts (AB) in rabbit diets on the carcass characteristics and rabbit meat quality were studied. A total of 120 rabbits aged 38 days were used and divided into three groups that were fed with different isonitrogenous and isocaloric diets supplemented with AB at 0%, 5% and 10%. The animals were single housed in wire cages at a temperature ...

An experiment was conducted to determine the effects of dietary Cu on performance, carcass characteristics, and muscle fatty acid composition in meat goats. Thirty five Jianyang Big-ear goat (JYB) kids (average BW 20.3 ± 0.6 kg and age 3 to 4 mo) were stratified by weight and randomly assigned to 1 of 7 experimental treatments (n = 5 goats per treatment). Treatments consisted of: 1) control (no...

211 Effect of Photoperiods and Stocking Densities on Broilers INTRODUCTION High stocking densities and long lighting periods are two major environmental factors common to broiler production (1). The control of these factors at an optimum level not only increases commercial profitability, but also contributes to securing the supply of the human population with adequate food and animal protein. The aim of the present study was to assess the effect of slaughter and carcass weight, age at slaughter and sex on the fatty acid profile of the Greek Boutsiko sheep breed. Twenty lambs (ten females and ten males) were examined. The lambs were slaughtered at the age of 48 days. Carcasses were chopped in nine specific cuts and a random sample of 100 g was taken from each cut, with a total of 180...
